Reports (March 14) in Hong Kong's China-owned media state that after the knife attacks in Kunming that left at least 35 dead, ethnic Uyghurs are being forcibly repatriated to the Xiniang-Uyghur Autonomous Region from Yunnan, Beijing, Henan and Shaanxi. At least 900 Uyghurs have been given a subsidy of Yuan 1,000 (US$ 163) and sent back to Xinjiang.
