Ten persons including Jimmy Lai, owner of Hongkong's largest media house 'Next Digital' along with his son and senior executives, were arrested on August 10 morning in Hongkong under the new National Security Law. Hongkong media reports quoting sources say Lai and his sons were “arrested for collusion with a foreign country, uttering seditious words and conspiracy to defraud”. Reports say Hongkong authorities on August 10 morning entered the offices of Apple Daily and more arrests are expected.
