CHINA-INDIA: XI JINPING'S VISIT

 The spokesmen of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Qin Gang, at the routine press conference said on September 1, 2014, that 'China and India are working to maintain close communication for the arrangements for President Xi Jinping's visit to India'. Replying to a reporter's question as to how the Chinese side sees the state visit of the Indian Prime Minister Modi to Japan prior to the President Xi Jinping's visit to India, Qin Gang said 'we are closely wacthing Modi's vist to Japan.Here I would like to emphaisise that both China and India are big nations, and both of them are gidue as well as practioner of Five Principles of Peaceful coexistence, we both the nation have our independent foreign policy. Qin Gang said, about Xi Jinping's visit to India, as everyone knows recently during the BRICS meeting in Fortaleza,Brazil,  President Xi Jinping had a very good meeting with PM Modi.  The leaders of both the nations decided that in the near future President Xi Jinping pay a state visit to India. Currently, both the sides are in close communication regarding the arrangement of Xi's visit to India'.
