 Q: According to the report, on 31st August, thousand of protestors staged a demonstration in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. They stormed the parliament building and the prime minister's office and clashed with police, causing heavy casualties. What is the Chinese government's comment on this incident? How do they look at the current situation in Pakistan?

 A:  China is highly concerned about the current situation in Pakistan. As a friendly neighbor, we sincerely hope that all parties should keep in mind the national as well as the people's fundamental interests, properly resolve relevant issues through dialogue and consultation, and jointly safeguard the stability of the country.
