CHINA-CDIC: FORMER VICE GOVERNOR OF XINJIANG REN HUA EXPELLED FROM PARTY FOR "SERIOUS VIOLATIONS" OF PARTY DISCIPLINE

The official website of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission (CDIC) recently reported that following an investigation by the CCP CC and the State Supervision Commission of the CDIC, Ren Hua, the former Party member and Vice Chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government, had been expelled from the Party. It stated that he "had lost his ideals and beliefs, abandoned his original mission, was not loyal to the party, deliberately confronted organizational review ... accepted banquets and shopping, high-end beauty and other extravagances ... illegal entry and exit of private clubs, illegal receipt of gifts and gift money ... regarding public power as a tool for personal gain, using the convenience of position to seek benefits for others in terms of business operation, project contracting, and land transfer, and illegally accepting huge amounts of property". It charged him with having "seriously violated the party’s political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituted a serious job violation and was suspected of taking bribes, and refused to stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China".
