CHINA-TIBET: RAILWAY LINKING LHASA WITH NYINGCHI

Xinhua (December 1) reported that workers are overcoming difficulties to build the first electric railway in Tibet, China. It said the 435-km railway linking Lhasa and Nyingchi is expected to open next year.
