Tang Jitian, a Human Rights lawyer in China was taken away by the Chinese Ministry of Public Security officers on December 8. His whereabouts and the reason for his detention still unknown. The following day (December 9) the homes of Human Rights lawyers Li Heping and Wang Quanzhang were surrounded by unidentified people, and the home of Lawyer Xie Yanyi placed under surveillance.
