CHINA-INDONESIA: CHINA'S COVID-19 VACCINE DIPLOMACY

Reuters and The Associated Press quoted Indonesian President Joko Widodo on December 6, said he was "very grateful" to China for supplying the first batch of 1.2 million doses of the new crown vaccine. Reports say Indonesia has been testing the vaccine since August. Joko added that the Indonesian government plans to receive another 1.8 million doses of vaccine early in January next year. Indonesia is also expected to receive raw materials for the production of 15 million doses of vaccines this month and 30 million doses of materials next month.
