CHINA-CCP: CCP EFFECTS LARGE SCALE PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS IN 2020

2020 is likely to regarded as the "big year" of the local political reshuffle of the CCP. According to Duowei News, in the past year, a total of 26 party and government officials (provincial party secretaries and governors) have been replaced in 31 provincial administrative regions across Mainland China, accounting for nearly 42%; and this includes 9 provinces. It said such a large-scale adjustment of local officials and appearance of a new "Southeast Army" creates a different atmosphere.
