CHINA-LEADERSHIP: XINHUA EXPLAINS "CRITICAL MINORITY" FOR WHOM THE CENTRAL PARTY SCHOOL ORGANISED A SPECIAL SEMINAR IN EARLY JANUARY

Xinhua (January 13) reporting on the seminar on the 'study and implementation of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for major provincial and ministerial cadres' organised by the Central Party School and that started on January 11,  said CCP CC General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the opening ceremony, teaching a key lesson for the "critical minority". Xinhua explained that the special seminars for leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels have the highest specifications among all classes of the Central Party School and that participants included "key minority" in key positions such as top leaders of the party and government of various provinces, regions and cities, and comrades in charge of relevant departments of the central and state organs.  It said senior leading cadres are the organisers and implementers who implement the spirit of the Central Committee in all regions and departments and lines and that through the seminars, the "key minority" are organised to concentrate on learning, discussion and exchange, which is conducive to further unifying thinking, building consensus, and aligning actions. It added, "2021 has just arrived, and a new journey to comprehensively build a modern socialist country has begun".
