CHINA-PLA: CMC PLANS MILITARY MUSEUMS ACROSS CHINA TO EDUCATE SOLDIERS AND ACHIEVE THE PARTY'S GOAL OF BUILDING A STRONG MILITARY

Xinhua (January 27) reported that the Central Military Commission (CMC)'s General Office had publicised (January 26) plans for the construction of military history venues across China. Led by the Beijing-based Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, the plans are for a series of military museums, which could include museums specialized in different military services, the museum of the armed police force and the museum of active military equipment, according to the plan. The venues would educate soldiers about the Party's theories, policies, history and fine traditions, military technology and equipment knowledge, as well as patriotism and national defense. it read.
