CHINA-US: U.S. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION DESIGNATES FIVE CHINESE COMPANIES AS THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY

The US Federal Communications Commission on March 12 designated five Chinese companies as posing a threat to national security. These include: (i) Huawei Technologies Co, (ii) ZTE Corp, (iii) Hytera Communications Corp, (iv) Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co, and (v) Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co.
