The 'National Cooperation between the East and the West and the Work Promotion Meeting of the Central Units for Fixed-point Assistance' was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia on April 8. The meeting conveyed and studied important instructions from Xi Jinping. Politburo member and Vice Premier Hu Chunhua attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the need 'to conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, deeply understand the significance of adhering to and improving cooperation between the east and the west and fixed-point assistance in the new development stage, and comprehensively promote rural revitalization'. He called for the proper pairing of the relationship between the east and the west, acceleration of collaborative assistance methods, a focus on expanding the results of poverty alleviation, and to promote industrial transfer, strengthen market cooperation, improve the development level of social undertakings, and promote coordinated regional development. A signing ceremony for cooperation between the East and the West was held at the meeting. Relevant responsible officials from Ningxia, Beijing, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Gansu attended and spoke at the meeting.
