People’s Daily (April 16) issued a report on the activities of the Central Propaganda Group for Party History Study and Education, which has been travelling to various parts of China to spread the education campaign to the masses. The People’s Daily reported that the group had made over 30 reports in various localities, organized more than 70 interactive exchange activities, and delivered more than 110 reports to government organs and universities. It said the reports reached more than 22 million people through television and online broadcasting. Members of the propaganda group, it said, explained the “glorious course of the Chinese Communist Party’s century of struggle,” its contributions to the nation, the major theoretical achievements of sinicized Marxism, and the “spirit of long-term struggle.”
