Song Tao observed that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and also the 100th anniversary of the party's foreign work. Over the past 100 years, the party's external work has been established by the party, prospered by the party, and strengthened by the party, and has always been closely linked to the cause of the party and the people. He emphasised the importance of the Party's "external work" and leadership of the Party.
