CHINA-US: U.S. SENATE IS CONSIDERING THE STRATEGIC COMPETITION ACT OF 2021 WHICH FOCUSES ON US-CHINA RELATIONS
The U.S. Senate is presently considering the exhaustive Strategic Competition Act of 2021 which, if it becomes law, will be a very important and comprehensive document guiding US-China relations. It catalogues the US thinking and new strategy vis-à-vis China. For example, the draft has asked the US State Department to answer a number of questions on Chinese activities in 40 international organisations.
