CHINA-HONGKONG: POPE FRANCIS NAMES STEPHEN CHOW, HEAD OF HONGKONG'S JESUIT ORDER, AS HONGKONG'S NEW BISHOP

Pope Francis named 61-year Stephen Chow, head of Hong Kong's Jesuit order, as the new bishop of Hong Kong on May 17. He will replace Cardinal John Tong, who has held the post in a caretaker capacity following the death of the previous bishop, Michael Yeung, in January 2019.
