CHINA-CCP: CCP CC ISSUES NEW NOTICE LISTING ACTIVITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT ACROSS CHINA FOR PROPAGANDA ON THE REVISED 'HISTORY OF THE PARTY AND NEW CHINA'

The CCP CC General Office issued a  Notice on May 25, on "Carrying out Propaganda and Education on the History of the Party, the History of New China, the History of Reform and Opening-up and the History of Socialist Development in the whole society", and said arrangements had been for carrying out publicity and education on the "Four Histories" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Emphasising that all regions and departments must always grasp the correct orientation, establish a correct historical outlook, the Notice" pointed out that it is necessary to organise various publicity and education activities. It clearly stated that it is necessary to study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era as the mainline. Among these t listed: to carry out reading and learning history activities; to organize grassroots publicity activities; to carry out learning experience activities. such as exploration of the connotation of red culture, red tourism boutique routes etc.; to carry out activities to pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs; to carry out learning advanced model activities; carry out red family traditions and inheritance activities; to carry out national defence education activities for the whole people such as organising the "New Journey Towards a Powerful Country · Military and Civilians Build a Strong Military Dream" tour, organising military camp opening activities and military training for college and high school students etc; and to organize mass cultural activities. The circular emphasizes that all regions and departments must always grasp the correct orientation, establish a correct historical outlook.
