CHINA-LEADERSHIP: CHINESE PREMIER LI KEQIANG VISITS JILIN PROVINCE

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Jilin Province. on June 15. In Jilin he visited Panpan Foods, a leading food processing company and official sponsor of the 2022 Beijing Olympics and a China-South Korea International Cooperation Demonstration Zone. Li Keqiang said more companies should invest in northeast China adding that “Not only is this place rich in resources, but the business environment is improving too.” He also welcomed foreign investment, noting that: “China welcomes more foreign SMEs to invest in China, and will treat them equally.” He told companies “I hope you will pass along your confidence to more companies...so that everyone knows there are good prospects for development.”
