The Guangming Daily (August 1) published a lengthy article on the "correct" way of teaching ideological and political theory and cautioned that international and domestic negative textbooks should be avoided. Specific mention was made of International negative textbooks. It said cases should also have carrying capacity and enlightenment, and be able to guide students to use Marxist standpoints and methods to conduct multi-faceted thinking and analysis.
