The People's Daily on August 4, 2021, gave 2 full-page coverage, starting from the front page, of the 'Chinese Communist Party's Inner Party Regulation System' updated till July 2021. It clarified that "As of July 1, 2021, there are a total of 3615 valid internal party regulations for the whole party. Among them, there are 211 central party regulations formulated by the Party Central Committee, 163 ministries and commissions internal party regulations formulated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Party Central Working Organs, and 3241 local party regulations formulated by the party committees of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
