CHINA-CIVIL AVIATION: CAAC RELEASES 14TH FIVE YEAR PLAN FOR CIVIL AVIATION DEVELOPMENT

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for Civil Aviation Development". It clarifies the guiding ideology, basic principles, target requirements and major measures for the development of civil aviation in the next five years, and is a programmatic document to guide the development of the entire industry in the future. The planning period is to 2025, and the outlook is to 2035. It includes the construction of six major systems is the main part of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of civil aviation. It disclosed that during the "13th Five-Year Plan", 339 general-purpose airports were registered, and 6,795 civil aviation aircraft were in the fleet
