The Central Discipline Inspection Commission (CDIC) announced on its official website on January 8
that Zhang Yongze, Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region Government (TAR), was examined and investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission
on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review.
