Zhao Leji, Politburo Standing Committee member and Secretary of the CDIC, presided over
the 25th collective study meeting of the CDIC Standing Committee on February 28 around "deepening the party history summary, study, education and publicity, and unswervingly
promoting the party's self-revolution". Zhao Leji pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping
had 'creatively put forward the major proposition of the party's self-revolution, systematically
expounded the connotation of the party's self-revolution, and profoundly pointed out that
relying on the party's self-revolution to jump out the successful path of the historical cycle rate
formed the strategic thinking of the party's self-revolution'. He said this important strategic
thought 'is an original contribution to the Marxist theory of party building, enriches the treasure
house of party building theories, and demonstrates the historical initiative of the Chinese
Communists to promote the new great project of party building in the new era, marking that
our party's understanding of the regularity of what kind of long-term governing Marxist party
and how to build a long-term governing Marxist party has reached a new height'. Zhao Leji
emphasized that the discipline inspection and supervision team is 'an important force to
promote the party's self-revolution and that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement
General Secretary Xi Jinping's strategic thinking on the party's self-revolution, further enhance
the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four self-confidences", achieve "two
maintenances", and have the "bigger country" in mind. He said the CDIC must 'consciously act
with the spirit of the party, always be the loyal guardian of the party and the people, and
welcome the victory of the party’s 20th National Congress with practical actions'. Politburo
member and Deputy Secretary of the CDIC, Yang Xiaodu attended the meeting.
