CHINA-DISSIDENCE: OVER 200 TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY ALUMNI SIGN 'OPEN' LETTER DEMANDING WITHDRAWAL OF DOCTORATE AWARDED TO PUTIN IN 2019
On March 3 , over 200 alumni of Tsinghua University – most of whom live in China – signed
an open letter circulated on WeChat calling on the university to strip Putin of an honorary
doctorate awarded in 2019.
