CHINA-SOFT POWER: CHINESE MOVIE WINS PALME D'OR AT CANNES

Chinese Director Chen Jianying's film "The Water Murmurs" won the Short Film Palme d'Or
at the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France, on May 28, 2022.
The film stars Annabel Yao, youngest daughter of Chinese hi-tech giant Huawei's founder and
CEO Ren Zhengfei. The film is her acting debut.
