CHINA-TAIWAN: NEW YORK TIMES CLAIMS CHINA MAY MOVE AGAINST TAIWAN IN NEXT 18 MONTHS
Citing the New York Times and unnamed sources the US publication AXIOS said (July 29)
that “U.S. officials now believe China may make a strong move against Taiwan within the next
18 months, according to a recent New York Times report, though that estimate is not based on
specific knowledge of Beijing's plans”.
