The Zhongguo Qingnian Bao (China Youth Daily; September 13) reported that on September
13, President Xi Jinping held a ceremony in the square outside the east gate of the Great Hall
of the People to welcome Nicolás Maduro Moros, President of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, who is on a state visit to China. Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, Wang
Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Office
of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, and others attended the welcome ceremony.
