Bei Feng (Wen Yunchao), a famous Chinese social media person in New York, received a mail in the early morning (3:30am) of March 9th, the letter is in PDF, from an Hushmail account. The email body (in Chinese) says that “this email account will not read and reply mails, only for the purpose of forwarding mails”.

The letter is in Chinese, from “China Martyr Brigade’s Leader”, he says that he takes responsibility for the missing of MH370 aircraft.

The statement criticized Chinese policy against Uyghur.
The letter did not say how they managed to hijack the aircraft
